Un "trésor américain" nous a quittés mercredi. Debbie Reynolds est décédée à l'âge de 84 ans, un jour seulement après sa fille Carrie Fisher. Emportée par le chagrin, elle a été amenée aux urgences dans la journée à Los Angeles après une attaque. "Elle voulait être avec Carrie" a déclaré Todd Fisher, son fils, au site américain Variety. Joely Fisher, son autre fille, a, de son côté, fait part de toute sa tristesse sur Twitter : "Certaines personnes magiques ont quitté la tribu... Pour le moment je suis inconsolable".
C'est ensuite une déferlante de réactions qui a envahi le réseau social les minutes qui ont suivi le décès de l'actrice de Chantons sous la pluie. Hommages, clichés, émotions, le tout Hollywood a réagi avec tristesse à la tragique nouvelle. William Shatner a été l'un des premiers à tweeter, évoquant l'un des "derniers joyaux d'Hollywood". Une icône s'en est allée.
